Finding your cabinetry direction

A room can feel personal without every detail competing for attention.

Start with what is staying

Existing floors, windows, trim, and furniture give useful context. Photograph these alongside the space you are changing.

Describe the feeling

Quiet, warm, bright, or richly detailed are starting points for a conversation, not a prescribed set of materials. Explain what you would like the room to feel like.

Look at the details together

Cabinet fronts, hardware, surfaces, and lighting need to be considered as a group. Use references to discuss the balance rather than copying every element of another room.
